Tanning Tattoo Cream ?

I would love this right now.
I really need to start tanning again, but I'm so afraid for my newest tattoo to fade quicker than it's already going to. I just got it done not even a month ago, and its my whole right ribcage. Totally healed by now thank God. I'm going to Ocean City, Maryland on June 18th, and I need to have a solid base tan before that. Anyone know of any tattoo creams for tanning ??

  1. I have the same problem as you. I got my tattoo like 3 weeks ago. I definitely recommend you not exposing it out in the sun at all, but if you must, just use a tonnnn of sunscreen on it (preferably high SPF), but like lather it around it and stuff

  2. my (almost) brother-in-law is a tattoo artist and when we head to the beach, he slathers all of his ink in the highest (& waterproof) spf he can find. he told me there are ones out there for tattoos but they don't do as much as just a solid spf and they can actually irritate your skin with all the added chemicals they have. hope that helps!

  5. i've been fairly tattooed now for 7 years with a full sleeve and half my leg covered. i use spf 30. anything over that is useless (read about spfs). your tattoo is going to fade regardless but people comment on mine all the time about how vibrant my arm still is even after 5 years. i would never alter my lifestyle or having fun in the sun for days on end in fear of my tattoo fading. simply apply sunscreen and get in the habit of applying every hour to two hours you are in the sun, it works!

  6. SUN SCREEN =) I have my side done too and I usually put a towel over it an sunscreen when I am laying down in the sun. They fade no matter what but the more you can do to protect it the better!
